Expansor Nederland B.V. is based Ulft (NL). Founded in 1956, the company initially focused on the production of site-specific expansion joints for Shell. Over time, Expansor has grown to become a niche deformation specialist active in a global market. The company offers three product groups: Expansion joints for the process industry, a wide range of 3D shaped products applied in design, industry and architecture, and wearing parts for the ceramics industry.

Sheet or tube is placed in a hydraulic press. By applying water pressure the product is shaped into a desired form. Liquid shaping is also known as hydroforming.
Sheet material is being pressed between a die and a rubber cushion. Under mechanical pressure, the sheet is driven into the die as to conform to its shape.
Continuously bending of a strip of sheet metal (typically coiled steel) between a set of adjustable rollers allows us to roll the sheet into a desired shape.
